Fat loss equation. It's different for everyone.

Weight loss can be very confusing for people. There is a huge amount of information out there, not all of it valid or even true. We're constantly besieged by this or that diet plan. We have friends who lost tons of weight doing this, and celebrities who shed pounds doing that. Many of these people just gain the weight right back and move on to some other extreme diet plan.

The truth of the whole thing is that different stuff works for different folks. In my personal training practice I trained dozens of people and if I had put them all on the same plan, I'd still have gotten dozens of different results. Are there some commonalities that will work for everyone? A few. But, at the end of the day, the weight loss equation is multifactorial and you have to spin the knobs and adjust the dials differently for everyone depending on their fitness, health and lifestyle.
